The booking becomes a live job inside the existing Damp Experts Group CRM, client record, appointment and quote reference all linked. The surveyor picks it up on the field app.
Site plan & annotation
Upload the property's floor plan from Polycam and read the rooms off it, then mark each finding on the plan and describe it.
Record findings, minimum taps
The surveyor works through the property. Observations are captured as structured taps, not typing, record it once and the software writes the report. The capture form adapts to the survey type. Drop a numbered marker on the plan for each finding.
Building the report
Everything the surveyor captured is turned, server-side, into a full report: key findings, professional opinions and a matched schedule of works, written in Damp Experts Group's own voice, learned from hundreds of past reports.
Draft your survey notes
We turn the brief notes you entered on site into clear, correctly-spelled professional wording, following the firm's Engineering Decision Process. Read each one, edit it, or regenerate anything that isn't quite right. This is just the wording, recommendations come next.
Quoted works & pricing
The recommended works, priced manually by the surveyor. A separate step from the report, enter each line item and the survey fee, and the totals calculate automatically.
The interactive report
What the client opens from their email. Numbered markers on their own plan, tap one to reveal the evidence, the diagnosis and the recommended fix. The whole report structure adapts to the survey type.
Review & send
A final check of the pricing before it goes to the client, then approve and send. The report wording and recommendations are set on the earlier steps; the client email is previewed below.
This puts the report, your full working and the priced works onto the customer’s record in the CRM, so they are not only on this device. It does not email the client.
Email clients strip interactivity, so the email is a clean branded summary that links to the live interactive report.
